| BEOnline began in 1996 as an experimental project of the Bibliographic Enrichment Advisory Team (BEAT) of the Cataloging
Directorate of the Library of Congress. Originally designed to explore means of access and bibliographic control for remote
Internet resources of interest to the practice or study of entrepreneurship and small business, including general business
resources, the Project expanded in 2000 to include additional subject areas, making use of OCLC's Cooperative Online
Resource Catalog (CORC) program, now part of the Connexion service, to catalog these resources.
The following guide has been generated using the software provided by OCLC's Connexion program, creating an automated search of the OCLC Connexion Resource Catalog for resources submitted by all participating libraries which include the subjects associations and economics or business.
